She Said Beauty is the latest box on the block. They launched last month but I was too late for subscriptions due to them selling out quite quickly. They had a deal on which was 40% off if you signed up for 6 months and I couldn’t resist. It is usually £9 + P&P per month, slightly less expensive than the boxes.
It arrived in a hot pink cardboard box, inside you’ll find the actual box that holds the goodies is turquoise with hot pink paper and straw coloured shredded paper. The box is a flip top very much like the original Boudoir Prive (Jolie Box) and I can’t see it lasting very long as it doesn’t seem to be well made. I will probably keep these to use as a gift box.
OK enough about the packaging, lets get to the good part!
Filthy Gorgeous – Nail Polish (full size) £9
This is a new brand to me and are Toluene and formaldehyde free. The packaging looks different to that online so maybe this is old stock? I received a bright red, looks like a great colour in the bottle so I am sure I will get some wear out of it. I will put up a nail post this week.
Comfort Zone – Body Expert Kit (10 x 6ml)
In this little kit we have a Fruity Peel Exfoliator (£24.50 for 150ml), Aromasoul Shower Gell (£19.95 for 150ml), D-Age Body Cream (£48.00 for 200ml), Body Strategist & Remodeller (£40.95 for 150ml), Vital Leg Cream (£32.75 for 200ml) and Tranquillity Cream (£58.25 for 200ml)
I’m in two minds about this, I’m sure they are lovely products but I just find sachets annoying and there are 10 of them! I would have rather had a bit more of one product in a better container and to get a good feel of the product, mainly the Remodeller to combat the dreaded cellulite!
Mischa Barton – Luscious Lips (Full Size) £12
I haven’t touched this product as I want to pass it on. This is the first I have heard of Mischa bringing out a cosmetic line. The colour I received is Pink Pop. Looks like a nice colour but I have heard it applies sheer. The smell is almost like play dough, not unpleasant but not the nicest smelling lip balm. The packaging is cheap looking and for £12, yes this lip balm is £12! I would expect something a bit classier!
Bellapierre – Shimmer Powder (Full Size) £12.99
I have received Bellapierre before in a Feel Unique box, it was in yellow which just wasn’t a colour I would use so passed it on. Luckily this time I received a gorgeous colour called Champagne which is true it’s name.and I believe everyone had the same colour. I probably have something similar in my vast eyeshadow collection but you know you got to try these things..
Bharti Vyas – Face and Neck Polisher (approx 10ml) £22.50 for 125ml
This again is another new brand. Smells pleasant, possibly a hint of mint. I won’t try this out unfortunately as although I was told not to use exfoliants because they don’t really agree with my skin, I keep trying them and bad things happened when using the Decleor Phytopeel the other week. Ugh!
Erno Laszlo – The Hollywood Collection (5 x 2ml)
I received this in a recent Glossy Box. I passed it on as I had heard it made someone’s eye sting quite badly and I didn’t want to risk that
We were also was given a lovely chocolate egg for easter, yum! This is a great box but not sure I am totally excited by it. I do think that is mainly due to a complete beauty box overload! This definitely tops last months by what I saw.
Have you subbed to She Said? What are your thoughts?
