Lux Box: May's Edition

This the the second Lux Box, it's the same monthly subscription service as the others and is £10 + Postage. I didn't put up a post of the first as it was mainly products that have been featured in many boxes before. I was quite happy to open this months to find many new brands!

Di Palomo - Hand and Nail Cream (25ml) £6.30 for 75ml
Looks like there are 3 different scents, I received Fig & Grape. Smells lovely and leaves my hands soft and moisturised.

It was a bit hard to find a retailer in the UK for this balm and the one I found in the link above is for a tin, not a  tube! Anyway I haven't opened this as I have 3/4 balms on the go at the moment but oddly I can smell the chocolate scent through the tube! It is petroleum based so not sure I will actually use it.

Murad - AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser (30ml)  £34 for 200ml
I have used Murad's cleanser before which I did like but I won't be using this product. It contains sulfates and I am a bit wary of exfoliants as my skin can react badly to it.

Papier Poudre - Rachel Booklet (1 Booklet) £7.20 for 6
This company have been going since 1903! These look cute but the shade I got was for dark/medium skin. I'm not sure it would make much of a difference though?!

Sensationelle - Flicktips (Full Size) £8.99
Deary me what do we have here? These are almost as bad as the nail wraps! Looks really good on their website though but I just can't see it looking so good in real life! Might be good for a fancy dress party...

It is a great box of products but in reality I will only use two. I cancelled the other day anyway as I just can't justify any more subs!

Has anyone else subbed to Lux Box?

Sorry for the rubbish photo, my camera wasn't playing ball this morning

  1. This looks like an interesting box contents. I hadn't heard of Lux Box before but I'm definitely considering cancelling my She Said Beauty subscription and trying this one out instead. x

  3. Oh I wish I'd subbed to the next box. As much as I hate the way GB automatically take their payments, it's good as I know I wouldn't remember anyway - which happened with LuxBox!

Eyeliner things are weird, but overall it looks like a really good box!

  4. Seems like a nice box! I've yet to subscribe to one of these boxes as I feel like I never see a box with products that I know I'd use every single one.
