MAC Marilyn Monroe Beauty Powder: Forever Marilyn Review & Swatch

So I wasn’t going to succumb to anything from the Marilyn Monroe MAC collection but after seeing TiffanyD on YouTube saying she really liked it I HAD to have it! So glad I forked out as it’s just beautiful! I actually wanted the Scarlet Ibis lipstick but it was compared to Sail Le Vie which I already have so I thought I’d bypass.
I know the packaging is a bit of hit and miss with people but I actually quite like it. I like the pictures they used and find it sleek and sassy. I love the red lipstick mark on the inside of the box. I am a a huge box hoarder so at least this one is worth taking up room!
Forever Marilyn is a pale pink powder with a ever so subtle shimmer which does not transfer to the skin. The powder is beautifully soft, smooth and quite pigmented – a dream to apply. I used it on the cheekbones, under eye, center of the nose, touch on the cupids bow and chin and a dusting on the forehead – in other words pretty much everywhere haha! I don’t actually own any kind of matte highlighters, well a slight lie as I have Laura Mercier’s Secret Brightening Powder but I only use it under the eye as I’m not sure how much is actually highlights the cheekbones so this fit’s in well to my makeup collection.  I definitely will be using this a lot!
Looks like it’s still available on the MAC website
Did you get anything from the collection?
