inhibitif Review

Have you heard of inhibitif? Well if you haven’t it’s a new product exclusive to Boots that reduces body hair to pretty much invisible. I first heard of inhibitif  from British Beauty Blogger. I was intrigued to say the least but was sceptical so no rushing out to buy it, oh no I was being ‘good’.
That was until I saw Beauty Queen UK’s post! So of course I hotfooted it to Boots,  no willpower me.
So the idea is you spray inhibitif onto clean, freshly shaved or waxed skin and rub in twice a day for two months or until the hair is nearly invisible. Then you curtail usage to once every other day to maintain the results.
I decided to use it on the legs (half way on thighs), bikini line and under arms. I thought about testing it just on the legs but then if it did work, I would have to go back to using it twice a day on the other area’s (which would have been a faff) and if it didn’t work, well then it didn’t! It was a bit of a chore to use it at first. More due to laziness and having to un-change in the evening to spritz this all over (I didn’t shave again, just washed). Also I am a need-results-fast kinda person otherwise I lose interest
But I stuck at it.

Sorry, I know you are all dying to see my hairy beast legs but there are no before and after pictures, didn’t really fancy showing my hairy legs to the world!
Just go check out a blokes leg.
I jest of course, I’m not that hairy.
So the results…
Yes, yes YES this bloody works! I have been using it for just over a month and now on day 3 my thighs and top half of my legs are as bald as a badger, the bottom half are a a little patchy but I could get away with going out unshaven and not have people screaming and running from me in the street.  Under arms are a teeny bit patchy too but the hair you can see is a lot finer and shorter than it would have been and not that noticeable. Bikini line is taking longer to work though. I can see results but as the hair is coarser I assume it takes longer for the inhibitif to break it down. Just need to persevere. I haven’t found this drying at all either and It smells of mouthwash so don’t go leaving it out on the side for some poor unsuspecting visitor πŸ˜‰
There is about half a bottle left which I think is not too bad going considering how often I have used inhibitif, plus now that I can cut down on usage it will last longer.  You will need to repurchase this to maintain results but if you are using it once every 2/3 days a bottle will last quite a while. Even more so if you just concentrate on one area. Me though, I prefer to be hair free everywhere! I have thought about lasering the unwanted hair off but it is quite an expensive lump of money to pay at one time but perhaps cheaper in the long run. However ihibitif will definitely do in the meantime.

Here’s the list of ingredients:
Aqua, Propanediol, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Lauryl Isoquinolinium Bromide, Pseudoalteromontas Ferment Extract, Dihydromyricetin, Polyquaternium-37, Disodium Edta, Isopropyl Alcohol, Allantoin, Capryyl Glycol, Glucose, Sodium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Peg-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, PPG-26-Buteth-26, Phwenoxyethanol, Chlorphenesin, Fragrance, Linalool, D-Limonene.
A few there I need to do a bit of research for. If you have any insight to these chemicals please do leave me a comment. Also let me me know if you want an update when I have finished the bottle.

It cost’s Β£30 for 240ml and you can find it on Boot’s website here or instore and I will definitely be repurchasing!

Have you heard of inhibitif or are you using it?
