I have fine flyaway hair, it’s a pain let me tell you. I have had a longing for thick lustrous hair since I was a teenager but adding a ton of extensions is such a faff so I go down the easier route of using thickening products instead. I have been using the Oribe Maximista Thickening Spray for a few years now and would highly recommend it. It coats the hair doubling the strands adding thickness and texture. Once dried you really can’t feel it in the hair which is a must for me. The Aveda Thickening Tonic is new to my product line up. I love this stuff and I have already gone through 1/4 of the bottle. It’s very lightweight and almost feels like you are spraying scented water onto your hair. You won’t get any stickiness with this and it adds fullness while leaving the hair flexible and soft.
Lastly The Living Proof 5-in-1 Styling Treatment doesn’t claim to add thickness but I find it does so perhaps they should change to a 6-in-1 treatment ha! You only need a small dollop of the cream product to coat the hair resulting in thicker swish worthy hair that holds throughout the day. I like to use this with one of the sprays for extra oomph.
Any tips to achieve thicker hair?
