It Cosmetics at QVC

Over the past year I’ve heard how good the iT Cosmetics CC Cream is but for me CC creams were never really on my horizon. Perhaps to use under a foundation to even up my skin tone but it Cosmetics claims the finish is a full coverage cream and I wasn’t too sure it would be for me. Plus it was very hard to get over here in the UK. I found out last week that QVC now carry some products from the brand and they were just about to launch the CC Cream and it was to be in a TSV (Today’s Special Value). For £46 you snapped up the CC Cream, Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer, the Bye Bye Pores Pressed Powder and a double ended brush. Too much of a good deal to pass up! Plus you could opt for Auto Pay which means you will get sent the same or similar package in a few months for the same price. This one though would be minus the brush for £36. If you think how much the CC Cream is on its own then you know that is an absolute steal!

  1. Bare Face
  2. One Pump of CC Cream + Undereye Concealer
  3. Two Pumps of CC Cream
  4. Powder Applied

The lightest shade in the CC Cream you could pick was Fair, I went for the next up in Light and at first I thought it would be a touch too dark but once it set down it lightened and was a pretty good match. I am hoping to use this more in summer so hopefully the shade will be just right then. Full coverage this is not though. I need 2 big pumps to get a good medium+ coverage but it does even up the skintone incredibly well. I love the finish too, it leaves a glow but nothing too over dewy which makes me think this will be a good one to use in the summer when my skin is more oily. I quite like the brush it comes with too, soft and to the touch and it glides the cream on so effortlessly you hardly need to use any pressure to buff it in. The smaller end does a good job at blending in concealer on any problem areas.

The concealer is fairly thick but melts quickly between your fingers and boy does it have high pigmentation and coverage. It will conceal the mother of all dark circles and brightens instantly without looking cakey. I’m very impressed with this little tube. Even though the powder packaging is a joke (chunky with a big area for a small sponge to sit in and is already dirty!) I love the formula. The powder is translucent but has a slight yellow tone to it which is great for my skin colouring. It is so finely milled you can barely register it on the skin but it sets the cream and helps along the flawless finish.

I love this set way more than I thought I would and pretty glad I opted for the auto delivery. Have you tried anything from iT Cosmetics?

Check out the range here (the set has gone up to £65) or you can order from Sephora

Nothing has really caught my fancy from IT Cosmetics, which is probably okay since we don't have it where I live :))

I have this in Fair. I like it, but, wish it had more coverage. Because I'm oily, I would like it more matte too. I tend to only wear it when I'm at home and I want to do a quick 5 minute routine.
